COLOURLOCK® Mild Leather Cleaner is an effective and gentle water-based cleaner for pigmented leather. It is the first choice for “normally” stained pigmented leather before a care treatment. It is also an ideal workshop cleaner for use before colouring of pigmented leather, vinyl and plastic surfaces.

If the leather is to be coloured after cleaning, ensure a solvent cleaner (GLD) is used to remove wax, silicone, fat or any other conditioners which may have been used on the leather surface. A water-based cleaner may not be strong enough to remove such substances.

COLOURLOCK® Strong Leather Cleaner is ideal for deeply stained pigmented leather in automotive, aviation (extensively tested and certified) marine, furniture, hospitality and all high traffic areas. This cleaner is exclusively for pigmented leather and should never be used on open-pored leather.

COLOURLOCK® GLD Solvent has several applications:

• GLD cleans pigmented leather and vinyl which have been discoloured by clothing (dark jeans and clothing), ink, ball-point pen etc., by dissolving the top layer;
• GLD is an ideal pre-cleaner for leather, vinyl and plastic, before any colouring job. Once the surface is lightly dissolved, the resulting matt finish is much easier to colour;

COLOURLOCK® Leather Fixative is used for removing stains, especially from leather garments and other aniline leather products.

For washable leather clothing:

• Wear protective (vinyl or latex) gloves;
• Shake product before using;
• Soak the piece of clothing in a solution of 50ml Fixative to 10 litres of warm water (around 30°C).
• Move the solution around occasional, over a 1 hour period;
• Don’t rinse;
• Follow the washing instructions on the garment and wash in a gentle cycle, using the COLOURLOCK® Leather & Fur Washing Concentrate.

For water stains on aniline leather (non-clothing):

• Wear protective (vinyl or latex ) gloves;
• Wet a cloth or sponge with the Fixative;
• Clean the leather from seam to seam;
• Wipe off any residue with a cloth;
• Dry with cold air from a hair dryer or heat gun.
