Leather repair entails filling and sealing small cracks, rips and holes durably, without having to replace the leather.

COLOURLOCK® Filler (7ml / 20ml)
COLOURLOCK® Filler is a matt, flexible and strong adhesive. It is effective for repair of Leather, vinyl and plastic. It does the job of filling, without over hardening. It is also dry cleaning safe.
Application: Scratches, abrasions, smalls rips, cracks and holes.
The filler can be:
• Sanded dry and wet (using GLD Solvent). Please follow the instructions carefully;
• Embossed several times;
• Coloured – it looks white when dry but just add a bit of COLOURLOCK® Leather Fresh or COLOURLOCK® Leather Colour before applying.
Repair with the Filler is ideal for repairs in the workshop, with no time pressure.
COLOURLOCK® Leather & Vinyl & Paste is better for quick repairs.
Ideal for: Professional Repair
How to:
• Apply the Filler to the area to be repaired;
• Dry (with a heat gun or hair dryer);
• Dab the area with Leather Fresh;
• Allow to dry;
• Repeat the colouring process for an even coverage.

COLOURLOCK® Liquid (or Fluid) Leather (7ml / 20ml)
COLOURLOCK® Liquid (or Fluid) Leather is similar to the Filler when it comes to usage and application process, except that Liquid Leather leaves a slight shiny finishing. It is ideal for small repair jobs and available in all COLOURLOCK® Leather Fresh colour palettes.
How to:
• Simply apply the Liquid leather to the area to be repaired;
• Dry (with a heat gun or hair dryer);
• Dab the area with Leather Fresh colour;
• Allow to dry;
• Repeat the colouring process for an even coverage.
Good to know:
• Easy for DIYers to use.
• Liquid Leather in neutral colour is perfect for antique leather or PU (By-Cast) repairs.

COLOURLOCK® Leather & Plastic Paste (20ml)
COLOURLOCK® Leather & Vinyl Paste is ideal for quick repair jobs on damaged leather, vinyl and plastic. It requires high heat for the paste to be properly embossed with the leather structure.
Good to know:
• Always test to check the level of heat needed to harden the paste.

COLOURLOCK® Glue-Tex Ironing Cloth
COLOURLOCK® Glue-Tex Ironing Cloth is a practical fabric for stabilising cracks and holes in leather. The fabric has an adhesive side that is activated by heat and is available in black and white.
Glue-Tex can be ironed to the back of leather (if accessible) or to the front part of the leather.
How to:
• Cut the Glue-Tex to size, with a little overlap, to give better stability to the damaged area;
• Use stickers or a pen to mark the adhesive side of the Glue-Tex;
• Clean the repair area with COLOURLOCK® GLD (this makes the area more adhesive);
• Place the Glue-Tex on the damaged surface and iron (or apply a heat gun) at medium to high temperature;
• Check that the fabric has completely adhered to the leather;
• Apply COLOURLOCK® Filler or COLOURLOCK® Liquid (Fluid) Leather;
• Follow the instructions to complete the repair process.

COLOURLOCK® GLD Pen (40ml)
COLOURLOCK® GLD Pen helps to flatten out COLOURLOCK® Filler and COLOURLOCK® Liquid (or Fluid) Leather repairs, to achieve a smoother surface.
How to:
• Open the lid and press down the felt tip on the surface until the tip gets moist;
• Lightly apply the felt tip on the surface to smoothen down any bumpy areas.

COLOURLOCK® Leather Glue (20ml)
COLOURLOCK® Leather Glue is a water based, fast drying glue, which remains flexible after drying. It stabilises damages which have to be glued with a rip-resistant textile from the back. The repaired area remains soft and flexible.

COLOURLOCK® REP-GLUE – Repair Glue (20ml)
COLOURLOCK® REP-GLUE – Repair Glue is best for damages or cuts where the leather fibres are standing. Unlike normal adhesives, REP-GLUE is fast drying, does not leave any filling effect and saves a lot of time.
How to:
• Shake the REP-GLUE before use;
• Carefully apply the glue with the brush under the raised edges or fibres.
• Wipe away any excess and dry with a heat gun.
• Choose a matching repair grain, heat the grain and press down the fibre back into place.
Good to know:
• To ensure durability, follow the REP-GLUE repair with application of COLOURLOCK® Leather Colour and Top Coat.
• COLOURLOCK® Leather Filler can also be used, if required.
